On a cold Friday night, the staff of Knott County HRC were all bundled up in their winter coats, wearing red Santa hats and twinkling Christmas bulb necklaces as they enjoyed the annual Knott County Christmas Parade.
For the annual downtown parade, KCHRC staff decorated an employee’s truck to be festive and among the floats and vehicles featured for the spectacle. Some of the holiday-themed vehicles displayed included a handmade Polar Express float and a sleigh where Santa traveled alongside many gifts.
The Knott County Christmas Parade had no small number of fun things and activities to do. There were Christmas carols on the courthouse steps, pictures with Santa, hot cocoa and elf selfies, square dancing and the little ones were even able to bring their letters to Santa Claus to the Hindman post office.
