Residents and staff at Knott County Health and Rehabilitation Center enjoyed poofing up their hair, getting messy buns, and cruising over to Mel’s Diner for a greasy burger, french fries, and Root Beer Float to celebrate Skilled Nursing Care Week. Quite a few wonderful outfits walking through the halls.
Residents and staff at Knott County Health and Rehabilitation Center traveled to Hawaii. People especially enjoyed getting to sample a refreshing drink (PinaCalada) and Chicken Kabobs served with pineapple chunks. They can’t wait to see where the next adventure takes them for National Skilled Nursing Care Week.
SUPERHERO DAY at Knott County Health and Rehabilitation Center was a success. Residents and staff had a wonderful time dressing up like their favorite hero. Batman and Wonder Woman delivered residents and staff their own Super Hero Box filled with a Hero sandwich, chips, and drink.
Knott County Health and Rehabilitation Center would like to wish all the mama’s at the facility a very Happy Mother’s Day. They celebrated with a special dinner with a red rose on each tray. They recognized their Oldest Mother, Ms. Ada Cornett, and their youngest mother, Ms. Brenda Day. Hope everyone had a special day.
What an amazing Car Parade for the residents at Knott County Health and Rehabilitation Center. The residents and staff so enjoyed coming outside on this beautiful day to watch the parade in support of the residents and healthcare workers in the community. Knott County Health and Rehabilitation Center’s very own Superhero Mask Maker continues to make the most amazing masks. This particular one was a special request for State Trooper Bailey Combs. His mother, Beth, brought resident Wilma Thomas his Cadet shirt and made the most fitting mask for Bailey to wear during his shifts.
Staff and residents at Knott County Health and Rehabilitation Center enjoyed a special treat (Banana Split) made with soft serve ice cream. Definitely a great pick-me-up.
